i thought it was time i updated my tutorial to include my new designs and use the opportunity to rebuild an x5 prototype since the last one was never returned to me

i was less detailed in this tutorial since i went into great detail in te previous tutorial. i'll have detailed dimensions added very soon.

so for those that happen to fancy my current roof racks on my land cruiser and pajero, sit back and enjoy the slideshow!

How To Build A Roof Rack 2
you can change the speed as well as get out of slideshow mode.....

keep an eye out for "How To Build A Light Bar", comming soon!

The photographic explanation is fantastic.

Already, it only needs the retractable rear-view of Jabocha icon_cool.gif

Hey man! Long time no see!
I´m glad to see your improving those cool ideas as the incredible lookin metal roof racks.
When i got my overland the first mod i did was lifting the body and fittin Tamiya Wild tires to make a monster like yours.

But last weekend my club opened the doors to our new MiniZ Racer track, an amazing 2 level track. But I´ve sold my racers, then I lowered down the overland placing ruber inserts into the dampers and fitting racer wheels with stock front tire and the rear tire from an static model( with stock racer tires dont have ground clearance enough in the motor mount side). I tried the track with a Pajero body, but people complained because tha car was the whole time upside down.
Now i´m fitted a Tamiya Civic body glueing plastic pieces which fit with stock body mounts. I have a rally look Civic which gonna hit the track next weekend. Hope thet nobody will complain and i´ll be able to race.
